Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls – Ministers Hajdu and Bennett will be available to the media following the second meeting with family members
Please be advised that the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Status of Women and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay-Superior North, along with the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs will be available to the media following their meeting with family members and loved ones of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
Please note that given the nature of the discussions to be had and out of respect for the attendees, these meetings are not open to the public or media. However, following this meeting, Ministers will be available to respond to questions from the media.
Summaries of meeting discussions will be posted to Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada’s website as they are made available. Information on upcoming meetings will also be posted as it becomes available.
