The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is hosting the fourth webinar in its Mental Health & Addictions’ Speaker Series, “Mental Wellness for our Children and Youth” on November 17th at 7PM EST.

The webinar features advice and insight from guest expert Dr. Michael Cheng, who will focus on mental wellness in children and youth  and what to do when children are showing signs of mental stress..

During this event, participants will learn more about:

    • What we need for mental health, wellness and resiliency in children and youth,
    • What are some signs of mental health stress,
    • When to seek help.


Dr. Michael Cheng

Dr. Michael Cheng, a child and family psychiatrist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa. In between patients, Dr. Cheng works with, an initiative of Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
