Good morning, readers.

It’s cabinet swearing-in day.

Today’s festivities at Rideau Hall will get underway officially at 1:30 p.m., and as the Canadian Press reports, will not feature the showmanship of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet reveal following the 2015 election.

Rumours have been aswirl about which MPs could land which appointments, but here’s who has been reported to be on the move where, so far:

The Globe and Mail reported that Chrystia Freeland will ditch her role as foreign affairs minister and ascend to the role of deputy prime minister, as well as being given the tricky task of handling intergovernmental affairs.
