Since the PM’s testimony is still dominating the Canadian news cycle, let’s take a look at the fallout — expected to continue.

Trudeau said he “pushed back” against the public service’s recommendation to have WE run the student grant program, maintaining it wasn’t a Liberal pet project pushed down from the top, and their choice was WE or nothing at all. He said his family’s financial ties to the charity did not pose a conflict of interest. While some think it was a win for Trudeau, the opposition, various columnists and much of the Ottawa bubble are now very much focused on the fun game of guessing which head will roll. Who goes under the bus, if anyone?
