National Accounting Firm Continues Expansion Into Thompson-Okanagan

Kamloop’s James Foucault CPA Inc. merges with MNP to benefit marketplace with enhanced services

THURSDAY, MARCH 16, CALGARY, AB – MNP LLP, one of Canada’s largest national accounting and business consulting firms, announced today that James Foucault CPA Inc., a Kamloops-based accounting firm, will merge with MNP, effective June 1, 2017. While James Foucault was looking to add much-needed resources and deliver more specialty services to clients, MNP was looking to expand its presence in Kamloops with a well-respected and client-focused firm that shares the same values.

“MNP has 18 offices in B.C and we have been looking for another like-minded firm to build on strategic plans for growth in the Thompson-Okanagan region after merging in Bruce Martin & Associates in 2016,” said Darren Turchansky, MNP’s Executive Vice President of the B.C. Region. “Since entering the Kamloops marketplace last year, we’ve continued to identify the need to grow our firm to serve the needs of this thriving community and we are excited to be adding to our team.
