A new kind of court in Edmonton, the Edmonton Indigenous Court, is taking steps to meet recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and help address the over-representation of Indigenous people in the justice system. Shalayn Martel from Legal Aid Alberta joined us on Global News Morning Edmonton to discuss the importance of the new court.
