On January 31, the Métis Nation of Alberta released a book chronicling the challenges and achievements of the Métis since their rights were recognized in the Constitution Act of 1982.
The book called The True Canadians: Forgotten Nevermore shows reflection on the Métis linage to the original inhabitants of Alberta land, the struggles for acceptance as proud independent people.
