Notice of By-Elections to fill vacancies on the MNO Youth Council

By-elections to fill vacancies in the MNO Youth Council are taking place on August 26, 2016. Further election details to follow.

By-elections are being held for the positions of Regional Youth Representatives for MNO Regions 4, 5, 8 & 9.

To be nominated candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 25 years on date of election;
• candidates require a minimum of four signatures of electors who are over the age of 16 but under 30 years of age as of the date of the election. Signatures must be from electors who reside in the region from which the candidate is nominated;
• Nominations must include a statement that the candidate on the date of election will be between the ages of 16 and 25 years of age;
• Must include a statement that the candidate on the date of election will be between the ages of 16 and 25 years of age.

Nomination deadline: 5:00 pm EST, August 4, 2016
