Notice of Meeting: Formation of the Manitobans for Healing and Reconciliation Network

You, or a representative of your organization, are invited to participate in ONE of the (information) Orientation Sessions (morning or afternoon) and Formation Meeting (in the evening), and the option of shared lunch and/or supper.

Date: September 10, 2007 (See Time below)

Place: Ka Ni Kanichihk, 455 Mc Dermot St, Winnipeg (Parking by the building and limited time on the street)

Time: We are offering the following schedule with the hope that you can attend at some point in the day, in between or part of your work, school and other commitments.If interested in attending (or interested but unavailable at all on this day) please RSVP to Angie or Jessie, or Email [email protected] and indicate when you are attending.

1. Orientation Session 1 during 9:30am – 11:30am
2. Shared lunch and open discussion 11:30am – 1:00pm
3. Orientation Session 2 during 1:00pm – 3:00pm
4. Open discussion during 3:00 – 5:30pm
5. Shared dinner and open discussion time 5:30pm – 6:30pm
6. Formation meeting 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Agenda: Includes information on the National Day of Healing and Reconciliation (May 26 annually) as an everyday event in Manitoba; noting the 2007-2008 activities and plans for May 26th, 2008 celebration; and endorsing the national launch in Winnipeg application to NDHR.
