November, 2008 All Chiefs’ Assembly: Background Documents
On November 25-27, 2008, an All-Chiefs Assembly on Proposed Recognition Legislation was held at the Chief Joe Mathias Centre in North Vancouver, BC. The purpose of this Assembly was for First Nations leaders to review and provide direction on key elements of potential recognition legislation.
