Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and Inhabit Media, partner to launch online resource for home learning

Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and Inhabit Media Inc. are committed to ensuring that Inuit children and youth have access to high-quality Inuktut books and educational resources to support language learning from home. As this need is now urgent due to the current COVID-19 crisis and the system-wide school closures in Nunavut, Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) and Inhabit Media have partnered to make Inuktut books readily available online at https://nti-inhabit.com

NTI is working with Inhabit Media and Inuit educators to create new educational resource packages to support Inuktut literacy development from home. Each week that this crisis continues new books and resources will be added to support Nunavummiut and ensuring our language remains strong.
