Trinity Housing of Cobourg Phase 2 Inc. has finalized an agreement to transfer ownership of new affordable housing units at 321 John Street to Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services (OAHS).
“THCP2 is committed to the creation of affordable housing for our community,” states THCP2 Board Chair Gordon Robins. “The Board has determined that the best course of action to fulfill this vision is to conclude THCP2’s role in the development of this new apartment complex at the design phase and transfer this project to an alternate housing provider with similar vision and interests. This provider has the necessary resources to oversee the construction phase and ultimately the operation of these new units.”
THCP2’s plan to construct 27 affordable units near Trinity Place necessitates robust project management.
Consequently, THCP2 is passing the project to OAHS, to ensure efficient delivery.
