This session will discuss the Leadership Journey Model and how to prepare for future management and leadership success by developing the knowledge and skills needed to become successful public managers.

Our guest speaker Manjit Bains, CPA, CMA, will discuss her own journey from Financial Clerk to Senior Executive and how she prepared for success along that journey, and the role of Mentors. The event will be moderated by Dr. Kim Speers which she will also illustrate how UVic is helping new professionals to equip themselves for future success. Our New Professional Panelists Vikas Verma and Claudine Lo will describe their career challenges and professional development journeys.
