Postville by-election preliminary results

The Nunatsiavut Elections Officer wishes to advice Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement of the preliminary results of today’s by-election in the Constituency of Postville for Ordinary Member to the Nunatsiavut Assembly:

Diane Gear	25
George Gear	45
Voter turnout:	53 per cent

The votes will officially be counted early next week, at which time a candidate will be declared elected.
