Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction Dale Nally will travel to London to meet with experts, leaders and decision makers in the online gaming industry.

The World Regulatory Briefing, part of the International Casino Exhibition (ICE 2024) in the United Kingdom, is scheduled from Feb. 5-8. Minister Nally is responsible for Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, which regulates all gaming in the province.

The conference is an opportunity for government officials and industry experts to understand what the trends in the global gaming industry are, how to attract new markets, and how new regulations and technologies are improving consumer protection for those who participate in online gaming. It is also an opportunity to learn the best path forward while developing a provincial iGaming strategy. An estimated 167 countries will be participating in the conference.

“Industry leaders and policymakers from around the world will be in one place during this conference. As we get rolling on developing a provincial iGaming policy, this will be a huge opportunity to gather ideas and knowledge from people who have already been down this path.”
