Rankin Inlet elder Tommy Tudlik received an award from the Inuit Heritage Trust for his work in promoting archeology and Inuit culture. The community’s mayor, Harry Towtongie , presented Tudlik with the award on Monday on behalf of the organization. On top of the plaque, the heritage trust gave Tudlik a $1,500 cheque and the hamlet council topped off the award with another $250.
