Recognizing and supporting conversations around Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls

We recently led two events to recognize and support conversations around the important issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, and to acknowledge our roles as Canadians and individuals to ensure that all people are safe to live and thrive in our country.

We thank members of the Haisla Nation, Kitimat Valley Institute, Tamitik Status of Women, CWB Welding Foundation and the Kitimat community for attending the raising of our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls memorial tree sculpture in Kitimat.
