Reconciliation Department Releases Leadership Blueprint PDF
The Reconciliation Department has finalized the Draft Leadership Blueprint, an important step in achieving our long-term vision and goals for Lax Kw’alaams. This document has been crafted through collaborative planning with Mayor, Council, and Allied Tribes representatives.
We appreciate the engagement we’ve received so far and recognize that community input is vital for our progress. This Draft Blueprint is intended to be a living document that will evolve based on your insights and the needs of our community.
Key timelines:
- February to April 2024: Strategic planning sessions for elected and hereditary leaders, the CAO, and key departments.
- July to November 2024: Presentation of the Draft Blueprint to the community through sessions in Lax Kw’alaams, Prince Rupert, Terrace, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria, and Nanaimo.
- 2025 and Beyond: Ongoing evaluation and updates to the Blueprint based on community needs and priorities.
