Trinity United, St. Paul’s Anglican churches come together with local communities for “Aboriginal Sunday”
While they can’t erase atrocities from the past, two Charlottetown churches vowed to do “what is right” in moving towards reconciliation with First Nations communities.
Members of Trinity United and St. Paul’s Anglican churches came together this weekend for a joint worship to celebrate the 20th anniversary of National Aboriginal Day.
The “Aboriginal Sunday” service also included smudging ceremony and a fair following the service to highlight the unique heritage, diverse culture and achievements of First Nations individuals.
