Six Nations Of The Grand River Welcomes Holly Smith To The New Role Of Director Of Service Excellence

Holly Smith joins the CEO’s office as the Director of Service Excellence. She will work alongside Darrin Jamieson (Chief Executive Officer), Trevor Bomberry (Director of Nation Building), Zach Miller (Director of Planning, Performance and Evaluation), Renay Ross (Executive Assistant), the Senior Administrative Team, and all of Six Nations of the Grand River (SNGR) Employees, in continuing to build SNGR’s planning capacity while helping the organization to enhance service delivery.

Holly Smith is Mohawk, Turtle Clan from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. She has over 11 years of clinical and leadership experience within the mental health and addiction field as an occupational therapist. In addition to a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Queen’s University, Holly also holds a Master of Health Management degree from McMaster University.

Holly has worked the majority of her career at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) across various departments, including clinical inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, research, evaluation and clinical program management both with urban Indigenous populations and the general public.

Holly draws upon lived and clinical experiences in her practice and approach when working with community. Her areas of interest include healing from complex and intergenerational trauma, resilience, and mental health education.

She is excited to be joining a strong team of leaders at the Six Nations of the Grand River and working to serve the community.
