The AFNQL expresses its condolences following the death of former federal Minister Jim Prentice

WENDAKE, QC, Oct. 14, 2016 – The Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador (AFNQL) wishes to express its condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Jim Prentice, who died in a tragic plane accident in British Colombia.

Mr. Prentice was the first to hold the position of Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development under the Harper Government and, as such, he participated in the First Nations Socioeconomic Forum held in October 2006 in Mashteuiatsh.
