‘Three Amigos’ summit: Trudeau takes final questions ahead of return to Canada | FULL

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau extolled the virtues of North American free trade as he wrapped up his visit to Mexico City for the North American Leaders’ Summit, colloquially known as the “Three Amigos” summit.
Trudeau outlined why he views Canada as an original architect and the principal guardian of free trade on the North American continent, as he called for a new era of three-way growth.
Trudeau was also asked about the possibility of Canada leading a military mission to Haiti. He said while Canada “has long been a friend” and would continue to provide support, it is “particularly important” that Haitians play a primary role in restoring stability.
He said Canada’s support is making a difference but that the international community is “very aware” the situation in Haiti could get much worse.
