Ontario observes 1st National Day For Truth and Reconciliation

Durham municipalities continue to work toward reconciliation, months after the remains of 215 schoolchildren were found at a former residential school site in Kamloops, B.C.
At the time, Durham communities mourned the loss and held vigils to support the victims and their families.
On Thursday, Sept. 30, municipalities across Durham held ceremonies to commemorate the first National Day For Truth and Reconciliation.
