Despite less than perfect weather Sunday there was a good crowd out for a Red Dress Day walk and candlelight vigil in Belleville.
Red Dress Day is held every May 5 and is a national awareness day in memory of missing, murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people.
Joining Indigenous people yesterday in Belleville were members of the public along with several local politicians.
