A pop-up event at D.B. Weldon Library Thursday featured newly released and archived Indigenous books and collections.
Western Libraries curated the event in partnership with the London Public Library. The pop-up displayed content for all demographics including fiction, non-fiction, children’s and young adult.
“We have a wide breadth of collections — there is something here for everyone,” said Katya Pereyaslavska, the student engagement and outreach librarian at Western Libraries.
According to Pereyaslavska, the goal of the event was to facilitate an opportunity for people to explore the Indigenous-focused collections available in London, Ont..
