The Akwesasne Family Wellness Program, in partnership with Quebec Native Women, invite surviving families to take part in a gathering focused on collective healing and remembrance.

Join us on October 3 & 4, 2025, at the Kawehno:ke Recreation Center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as we come together to honor the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People and create a space for healing through testimony and storytelling.

Families will have the opportunity to share their loved one’s story and contribute to the creation of an interactive map to commemorate and remember those we have lost. We also welcome stories and testimonies about missing or murdered Indigenous men.

  • Psychological and traditional support resources available
  • All gender-diverse people are welcome
  • Light refreshments and lunch provided
