The Circle for Aboriginal Relations Society (CFAR) will be hosting our annual conference Conversational Leadership: These Are Our Stories June 13 and 14, and is issuing this call for papers for all interested speakers and workshop leaders that wish to contribute to the various conference streams.

The Circle for Aboriginal Relations (CFAR) is a registered non-profit, non-partisan Society of professionals from diverse backgrounds who work within Aboriginal relations groups in communities, governments and industries. CFAR was created in 2006 at a workshop attended by forty liaison professionals with significant experience in Aboriginal relations. As a non-profit society, CFAR has been able to remain a front runner in addressing issues faced by Aboriginal relations liaisons through the generous support of our sponsors and members. Call for Papers
The 2018 CFAR Conference will present topics and insight relevant to economic and social development and wellbeing in First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities (including urban). The conference will focus on Indigneous community, government and Industry perspectives. CFAR is seeking case studies, workshop leaders, panelists, and analytical and/or conceptual presentations.

February 15th, 2018 | Submission of Abstracts (please limit submission to 500 words) |
February 28th, 2018 | Notification of Acceptance |
April 30th, 2018 | PowerPoint Presentation Submission |
Please include the following information, submitted concisely and clearly.
- Presentation purpose: What are the goals of your presentation? What should our delegates expect to walk away with from your presentation?
- Focus: which of the above noted sub-focuses are applicable to your presentation?
- Format: Is your presentation interactive? What AV requirements needed? Will materials be provided to participants? What is the expected length of your presentation? How many people will present?
