Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the provision of engineering services to investigate and provide a detailed design and tender package for the replacement and upsizing of the sanitary trunk sewer from 7th Street East to the City’s old lagoon on Railways Ave E.

SCOPE OF WORK The engineering services are to include, but are not necessarily limited to the following tasks:
1. The consultant is to review the existing documents and GIS information available from the Oldman River Regional Services Commission (ORRSC) our GIS data consultant.
2. Project initiation meeting with the City representatives to verify project scope, timelines, and budget. All project meetings will be held at the City of Brooks offices unless otherwise specified.
3. Data collection including topographical survey, review of background information and coordination with any utility companies within the project boundary.
4. Detailed design of trunk main including bypass pumping concept, surface and road restoration.
5. Tender package including drawings, specifications and pre-tender cost estimate.
