Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino gains elite 4.5 star accommodation status with Canada Select

KANANASKIS, ALBERTA – Sept. 2, 2009 – Stoney First Nation and Stagewest Hospitality are pleased to announce that Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino is not only the sole casino resort in the Canadian Rockies, but is now the region’s only Canada Select 4.5 star property under the Hotel/Motel category. Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino opened this spring as a cooperative development between the Stoney First Nation and Stagewest Hospitality.Canada Select is the only national accommodation rating program for resorts, hotels, motels and B&Bs. This industry led, consumer sensitive rating program provides travelers with a consistent standard of quality.
