Traditional Trapper coming to NU

Nipissing University’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives welcomes Carl Gusso Mongrain, Eagle Village First Nation community member and traditional trapper, for traditional Land-Based Teachings presentation on Thursday, November 26, at 11 a.m. in F204.

Mongrain will be on campus to share his knowledge of traditional trapping and skinning techniques he mastered from a lifetime of living off the land.

Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided.
