The Treaty 4 Education Conference (T4EC) has been a highly anticipated annual learning event for the past 12 years. This conference offers an opportunity for educators and lifelong learners to network, share promising and effective practices and contribute to the Treaty 4 learning community for the benefit of future generations.

The 13th Annual Treaty 4 Education Conference: Honour, Embrace and Implement Treaty Rights to Education will take place April 19-21, 2011 at the Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The goal of the year’s conference is to share strategies and successes related to student retention, literacy/numeracy and community engagement.

The is year’s conference promises to be another learning event of excellence; with acclaimed and dynamic keynote addresses from Dr. Gabor Maté, Edie L. Holcomb, Sol Sanderson and Ted Nolan. There will be Elder / Student Panels, inspiring workshops and cafe discussions, a trade show and a Gala Evening with fantastic entertainment. The ultimate goal is to provide the delegate with tools and ideas to assist in the guiding and educating the First Nations leaders of tomorrow. We are expecting over 1000 teachers, principals, politicians and business leaders to be in attendance.
