CIRCLE Webinar with Winny Routray

Assistant Professor, Department of Food Process Engineering, NIT Rourkela, India

Waste and byproducts from the agro-food processing industry are valuable sources of various useful biochemicals. Significant challenges arise in their storage and segregation, largely due to the complexity, distinct nature of each type of biomaterial, and the interaction between the inherent components. However, meticulous scientific intervention can maximize the use of these resources leading to sustainable biorefineries converting them to beneficial food industry additives.

Moderator: Guneet Kaur (Assistant Professor, School of Engineering, University of Guelph)

Presented by: Canada India Research Centre for Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE)
