In an increasingly unstable political climate marked by trade wars, will-they-or-won’t-they tariffs, and rampant economic inequality, how can we continue to build and advocate for affordable housing?
Safe, secure, affordable homes are more important than ever: across Canada, our neighbours are resorting to tents in parks rather than the dignified affordable homes we all deserve. But the process of building those homes is getting more and more complicated.
Hear from a panel of government relations experts on how you can keep your eyes on the prize and continue to build. You’ll come away with expert advice that will help you continue to push forward in a changing new landscape.
The Building Ottawa Series is co-produced by the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa, Cahdco, and the Ottawa Community Land Trust to provide a forum for housing professionals to learn about and discuss issues related to scaling up the development of more affordable housing in Ottawa.
Moderator: Joanne Chianello, Managing Director, 2B Developments
