Join us for a special event for newcomers to Canada to learn, connect, and engage with Indigenous culture and community.
The day’s agenda includes:
- Elder Welcome
- Soup Lunch
- Tour of the Centre
- Newcomers Presentation + Medicine Tie
- Cultural Sharing Workshop

Please note that this event is open to individuals living on Vancouver Island who:
- Hold a CUAET Visa
- Are a permanent resident of Canada
- Are a protected person as defined by section 95 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Have been selected to become a permanent resident and received confirmation from the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
