About this event

Welcome to Indigenous Student Movie Night!

Come join us at the Design Building, room G109 for a night of film, fun, and community. This event is a great opportunity to relax, connect with fellow Indigenous students, and enjoy some awesome movies together.

Smoke Signals is a comedy-drama which depicts the journey of Victor and Thomas as them embark on a road-trip to retrieve Victors late fathers’ ashes.

* Please note this film does include scenes of violence, alcohol, and loss.*

Grab your friends and get ready for a cozy evening filled with laughter and good vibes. We will be proving refreshments and snacks. Whether you’ve seen the movie before or not, this event is perfect for everyone.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to unwind, socialize, and watch some great movie filled with laughter and truths about living in an Indigenous community. We can’t wait to see you there!
