To enter into a New Fiscal Relationship (10-year Grant) agreement, a Tribal Council / NPO must meet the eligibility criteria co-developed by Indigenous Services Canada and the Assembly of First Nations. The FMB provides the eligibility criteria for the Grant program and is based on:
- A Financial Administration Policy Compliance Opinion (FMB has a template)
- A Financial Performance Compliance Opinion
FMB provides eligibility reports to Indigenous Services Canada confirming that your organization meets the criteria. Indigenous Services Canada makes all final decisions on grant eligibility and the decision to offer a grant.
The workshop will focus on the criteria and the support FMB can offer to your organization to meet them.
