This event will begin with a smudging ceremony and remarks by Clarence Cachagee, at 5:30 pm. We’ll share a potluck meal, followed by project updates, table discussions, and interactive activities to shape the Permanent Indigenous Space at Huron Natural Area. We’ll also introduce the Management Plan for the park and explore the next steps in developing adaptive stewardship and co-management strategies. With your guidance and knowledge, we aim to create a space that truly reflects the community’s needs and values.
This session will be facilitated by SOAR Professional Services | Home along with City staff who have supported this project in the past.
