Join us for a solidarity social and meet & greet with the tattoo artists union cooperative organizers. The event starts at 6:00 pm for tattoo artists and doors will open for our community friends & allies at 7:30 pm.

Drop by for a beverages, snacks, and some great raffles. 100% of event proceeds will go towards the tattoo artists union cooperative organizing efforts!

More Than Inkers is a Tattoo Artists Union Cooperative created by Pifa Alarcon (@pifanida), Riley Morrison (@zap.mommy) and Ayasha Dunphy (@littlelotus.tattoo)

WHAT

More Than Inkers aims to create a comprehensive support system that enhances the professional and personal lives of tattoo artists in Vancouver, BC.

This event is being held at the he Union Cooperative Initiative Chinatown Studio. The UCI is building an economy that works for all through the development, incubation, and operation of union co-ops that are good for people and the planet. We are a non-profit solidarity cooperative with a mission to build a worker-centred social and solidarity economy.

The Union Cooperative Initiative works on the homelands of 203 distinct Indigenous nations and cultures with more than 30 different languages and close to 60 unique dialects spoken across British Columbia. Our office is located on the Unceded Territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations in Vancouver. We commit to active reconciliation, solidarity, mutual aid, and concrete action with our Indigenous partners and members.
