Job Description:

  • Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Train other workers
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Manage the digital portfolio of each client
  • Encompass billing, invoices, and expenses

Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or in a related clerical role, combined with coursework in administrative skills, is necessary. If the candidate does not meet the experience requirement, they must have completed a one- or two-year college program for administrative assistants or secretaries, or have previous clerical experience.
Knowledge of IT services or social media is required

Salary: $28.39 per hour, 37.5 hours per week

Important Information:

Flexibility in the schedule is required. The employee will work Monday through Friday on a regular schedule from 9 AM to 5:00 PM. An unpaid 30 minute lunch break and two paid coffee breaks of 15 minutes each are included.
