Job Description
Sonu Hair Cut & Beauty Salon Ltd. is currently looking for Administrative Assistant to join immediately. Job offered is full-time and permanent. Workers are encouraged to apply immediately.
Job Duties
- Set up, operate, update, and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems/database for daily appointments for customers
- Precisely and effectively establish work priorities for our team
- Co-ordinate and plan for services, equipment, and supplies for meeting operational requirements of the business
- Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures for staff
- Ensure the Covid-19 related safety protocols are maintained by staff and customers at all times
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of the employer
- Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with staff
- Create, publish, update, and manage business’s content to feed company’s social media platforms and website on regular basis to attract customers online
- Examine, sort, order shop supplies and maintain inventory. Manage inventory salon products by maintaining records of stock quantities on hand and ordering replacement items
- Maintain the effective operation and upkeep the office equipment, including computers and telephones
- Respond to telephone, email, walk-in and website contacts form inquiries from existing and new clients, management, vendors, bylaw officers and other inquirers
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business
- Report matters to the management
- Keep office and receptions area clean and tidy
- Prepare and proofread invoices, presentations, reports and related material
- Greet clients and maintain friendly environment all the time and direct visitors to staff or appropriate person
Employment requirements
Education: Completion of Secondary school is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an office set up, clerical or administration environment. A bachelor’s degree or a college diploma may reduce the experience requirement to 7-12 months.
Language: Excellent communication skills in English.
Other: Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills, extremely organized, Excellent coordination & collaboration skills, Superior oral and written communication skills, Strong proficiency in English
Benefits
As per BC Employment standards act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid.
