Job Description

B Junk Free and Moving Ltd. based at 5216 Fraser Street, Vancouver BC V5W 2Y9, Canada is eagerly looking for 02 Asbestos Removers to join its team to work all over the Lower Mainland.

Job Duties

• Inspect buildings and other structures to identify asbestos containing materials
• Create an asbestos removal plan
• Remove and dispose of asbestos containing materials safely
• Perform air monitoring to ensure that asbestos fibers are not being released into the environment
• Thoroughly clean and decontaminate the work area
• Keep detailed records of the work performed
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding asbestos removal and disposal
• Employment requirements
• No formal education requirements. Completion of secondary school will be an asset.
• Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset, on the job training can be provided. No minimum experience required.
• Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
• Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of equipment and other objects
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors and all-weather conditions.
• Basic English is required to communicate.

Benefits

As per BC Employment Standards Act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary each pay period or 10 days of paid vacation (worker will choose). Transportation to and from work location can be provided at free of cost.
