We will provide:

• Pay rate: $18 – $19 per hour
• Minimum 35 hours / week throughout your employment period
• Paid vacation of 10 days per year

Duties

• Prepare breads, cakes and other pastries for Restaurant in accordance with Belle Vie Authentic Recipes and quality standard using the highest quality ingredients.
• Manage the Bakery team of 5-7 employees; hires, schedules, trains, provides feedback and motivation on products, ingredients and processes
• Orders and monitors inventories of all ingredients and products for baking, including tracking and documenting daily transfers and waste in the appropriate system.
• Mixing, matching, and blending colors to create custom cake decorations such as flowers, figurines, and beads; Applying frosting, sprinkles, and other toppings to finished cakes
• Collaborates closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all necessary parties are aware of daily bakery activities, including absences, schedule coverage and product availability
• Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum High school Education
• Minimum one month of experience in a similar field
• Ability to legally work in Canada
