Job Description:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Draw up production schedules
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Prepare special orders
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
• Operate machinery
• Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience:  At least 2 years of experience in the field is required. In the event that the candidates do not meet the 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate will be required to qualify.

Salary: $18.00 hourly, 37.5 hours per week

Important Information: The worker will be required to work 7.5 hours per day scheduled between 8 am – 19:30 pm from Monday to Sunday. Work weekends and stat holidays is required. The chosen candidate will be given two consecutive days off in a row but at times may have split days off.
