Job Duties:

• Change machinery attachments
• Caulk decks and hulls
• Monitor machine during operation
• Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts and other accessories
• Repair boats
• Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards
• Mark defects to be repaired
• Affix seal or tags to approved products
• Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications
• Complete reports on product inspection
• Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to repair products
• Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools
• Clean work stations and remove scraps, dust, shavings or other by-products from machinery and surrounding areas
• May make routine changes of dies, nozzles or other machinery attachments as required.

Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary education is required

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity

Personal suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team player

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Outdoors

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Language: English is required.

Salary: $27.50 hourly, 40 hours per week

Important Information: The regular schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday. Work on weekends may be required depending on the business needs.
