Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration located at 13880 Mayfield Pl, Richmond, BC V6V 2E4 is looking for two cabinet maker/installer to work with a team of cabinet makers both within the cabinet shop and out in the field on jobs sites. The salary is $25.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience, working an average of 40 hours per week. This are full-time, year-round positions. Duties and Responsibilities

• Spraying, building, and dipping assembled articles with protective or decorative materials, such as varnish, stain, or paint
• Detaching, installing, and building new cabinets, specifically, kitchen cabinets
• Accurately measure, draw, layout, and create a scope of work
• Reinforcing and trimming joints using nails or screws
• Safely use shop tools including table saw, shaper, router, paint sprayer, edge-banding machine
• Following all company policies and standards, including Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Practicing good housekeeping on the job and in the warehouse
• Having the creativity and adaptiveness to work at different job sites routinely
• Displaying good manners and attitude toward property owners, occupants of the property, co-workers, and sub-contractors
• Maintaining professionalism with co-workers, homeowners, and clients
• Collecting and preparing materials necessary to complete a job
• Identifying problems or barriers to finishing the project on time.
• Meeting timeline expectations required by the customer and project manager

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months directly related experience
• Red Seal certified Cabinetmaker or equivalent amount of experience preferred
• Must have demonstrated skill and experience in the safe operation of various shop tools
• Experience in the restoration industry is considered an asset
• Experience working in millwork and or carpentry is considered an asset
• Must have own hand and standard tools
• Works well alone and with others
• Must be able to lift over 50-pound equipment and materials
