DSG Mouldings Ltd. is looking to hire one carpenter for their business located at 8651- No.5 Rd, Richmond, BC, V6Y 2V5. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing the following job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts according to building codes using measurement instruments.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood such as wooden mouldings.
• Work efficiently while adhering to all safety standards.
• Use measuring tools to ensure precise cutting and shaping.
• Build wooden structures according to customer specifications.
• Trimming of sheets and moldings to match irregular surfaces.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 3-4 years of experience is required.
• English as a language skill is required.

What we offer:

• $37.00 per hour.
• 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
• Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position.
• Trade certification for carpenters will be an asset.
