Alpha1 Constructions Ltd. located in Victoria BC is looking to hire 2 fulltime permanent carpenters, to be part of their growing team on Vancouver Island.

Wages $37.00 per hour

Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other
  materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants
  and other establishments
