Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Wage rate: $34.62 per hour for 40 hours per week

Blue Men Construction Ltd. located in Surrey is looking for 5 carpenters to join its team.

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints; determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts as per building codes, using measuring tools,
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood/wood substitutes,
• Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls;
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors & stairs.
• Maintain and renovate residences & wooden structures.
• May supervise helpers & labourers

Essential Skills: Working with others, Significant use of memory, Continuous Learning

Job Requirements:

• Education: No specific education is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in trade
• Language: Basic English

Working setting:

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Work Site Environment: Outdoors Work

The candidate should be available to work full-time on weekends, if required.

• Must be willing to travel to work sites all over Lower Mainland, BC.
• Relocation costs will be covered if required.
• Extended medical benefits after 6 months of employment.
