Job duties you will be responsible for:

• Plan and prepare menus, including daily specials, ensuring dishes are consistent and meet customer expectations.
• Develop and create new menu items using seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Cook and oversee the preparation of meals, maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
• Monitor portion sizes, quality of ingredients, plating/presentation and visual appeal of meals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to kitchen staff, supporting teamwork in a small kitchen environment.
• Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste while controlling food costs.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Adapt menus and cooking methods to meet customer requests, dietary needs, or seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance.
• Interact with customers, handle feedback, and resolve complaints.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a chef or cook
• English
