Job duties:

• Supervise and develop cleaning staff according to Health and Safety protocol and cleanliness standards.
• Facilitate training sessions for cleaning staff.
• Update and implement training manuals for new hires and for seasoned employees.
• Manage the hiring process by screening and interviewing employees following the company’s operational standards.
• Manage staff schedule based on labor standards and business volume.
• Inspect work sites to confirm that the cleaning service that was delivered meets safety and cleanliness standards.
• Manage the ordering and procurement of cleaning supplies based on business volume.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

The language of work: English.

Wage: $25.50 per hour.

Skills requirements:

Required education:

• Completion of secondary school.

Required work experience:

• Substantial experience as a cleaning supervisor.
• Substantial experience in cleaning and sanitation.
• Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety rules and requirements.
• Excellent organizational and supervisory skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• A cleaning certification from The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) or its equivalent is preferred but not required.
